Released by Oldham Athletic at the end of the 2005/06 season after more than 200 games and almost 50 goals for the Latics he started the new season without a club and Steve Waywell stepped in to give him a chance on the non-league circuit. Formerly with Blackpool, Burnley and Preston North End he boasts over 800 games for football league sides - no mean feat at all. Was released in October 2006 and joined Mossley.
