This site has come about as over the years I've stored up a number of team line ups & results on paper and wanted to give them a more permanent home, plus it then becomes so easy to see a players full record or our success rate against a certain team, etc.
Here are some of the people who have helped in one way or another.
I must thank the late Ray Stanley for a fair part of this data, he kindly allowed me to photocopy his statistcs from 1980 up to 1996 and without that I wouldn't have had much to go on. Mike Pavasovic and his fantastic books about the history of Hyde FC and Hyde United have allowed access to virtually all games and will continue to allow the site to grow.
Many of the match reports appear courtesy of Adrian Hunt from the old Official Site, Luke Edwards and also Tony Beard as do most of the player photographs. Mark Dring has also filled in a number of gaps and written some of the match reports. The late Chris Hilton also provided a number of photographs for use, as have Don Goodwin, Mike Smith and Nick Koopman.
Thanks also to my wife, Georgina and our two little girls Katie and Elizabeth for allowing me to sit at the PC for hours at a time.
