Chorley: Not available

This was not as good as it sounds. Hyde had the better of the first half, Neil Hall should have scored when Haw crossed to him but he missed his kick and the chance was gone. Chris Dolby hit a long range effort over the top and then Hyde scored their first. On 30 minutes Chris Dolby beat his fullback and crossed to Don Page who made sure his header crossed the line. Haw hooked a shot wide after Yeo played him in and Chorley should have equalized but poor finishing gave Hyde a one goal cushion at the break. On 53 minutes Tony Black 's speculative volley looped over Edgington to put Chorley level. Dolby & Page forged an opening for Yeo but his shot on the turn was saved well by Simon Marsh. Chorley went ahead on 67 minutes when Colin Potts drilled home a loose ball following what can only be described as a game of pinball in the Hyde penalty area. Hyde's misery worsened on 74 minutes as Tony Black scored with a low shot from the edge of the penalty area. Three substitutions then seemed to pay off as firstly Simon Yeo scored on 80 minutes and then in the fourth minute of stoppage time Prince Moncrieffe lashed home an equalizer. The Tigers did not deserve this though, and just to prove that point they gifted Chorley a 95th minute winner as substitute Gray headed home a corner.
