Hyde thought they had scored in the first ten minutes but Yeo's header from Tobin's cross was disallowed for offside. Worksop had a great chance to open the scoring on 15 minutes a cross from the right was met by Stafford and Graham Bennett did well to stop, never mind hold on to his header. The assistant referees were working overtime as both defences played the offside game but Banim tried to foil that when his twisting run got him behind the defence but his shot went across goal and wide. The second half saw both sides try a little harder to break the deadlock, Yeo's mazy dribble from the right produced a shot straight at the keeper and then Banim hit a drive from twenty yards just over. The chance of the game fell to the usually clinical Simon Yeo who found himself in acres of space with just the keeper to beat but shot straight at him. Worksop went close with a rising drive and then after some poor defending they shot wide from six yards to sum up the game.
