Managers of Hyde FC
David Nolan September 2001 to October 2002
David Nolan was always a fans favourite at Hyde due to his never say die attitude on the pitch, his reign off the pitch lasted just over a year but never reached the same heights. Taking over a sqaud lacking in confidence and without a win in their first ten league games from Mike McKenzie, this was Nolo's first managerial job and although results came steadily, including a win in his first league match, it wasn't enough to keep Hyde from relegation. However, off field matters intervened and a reprieve was granted due to Bishop Auckland's ground situation. Nolan's second season didn't kick on and the loveable Scouser departed with Hyde facing a second relegation battle. | |
