David McGurk

David McGurk joined Hyde as player/assistant manager, in the summer of 2016, after a spell with Harrogate Town. He started his career with Darlington, making 56 appearances, and also spent three periods on loan at York City where he would eventually become a permanent signing, making 284 appearances in total. He arrived at Hyde as assistant to Darren Kelly and they quickly formed a successful partnership. When Kelly assumed a Sporting Director role in the summer of 2019, McGurk was promoted to the manager role.
