Walker was then unlucky as he struck the crossbar with an overhead kick from seven yards before Simon Yeo struck again on 36 minutes, A free kick rebounded off Peter Band and Simon Yeo pounced to grab his second. On 40 minutes a corner was trapped by Paul Taylor who then laid the ball for Yeo to grab his hat-trick. Simon Yeo struck his fourth on 43 minutes from a tight angle on the right, helped by the defender on the line. The second forty five minutes was a non-event but on 80 minutes Simon Yeo lobbed the goalkeeper from 20 yards to join Paul Kirkham, Phil Chadwick and Colin Little as joint record goalscorers with five in a match for Hyde. Not content with this on 83 minutes Yeo sent the ball across for Jody Banim to slam home the Tigers sixth. |
