Match Details: Tuesday 16th September 2014 Manchester Premier Cup 1st Round
Attendance: 35 Chadderton: Not available Hyde earned a well deserved 8-0 win over Chadderton in the Manchester Premier Cup to advance to the quarter finals of the competition. Two players managed a hat-trick for the Tigers in Reece Gray, taking just 31 minutes of the first half to seal his, and Connor Hughes, while debutant Ryan Masterson managed a brace to keep up his remarkable scoring record at all levels. The Tigers went with a strong line-up seen as a confidence booster for Saturday's tough home clash against Lowestoft, and it proved to be that as Hyde could count themselves unlucky not to come away with double figures. All credit to Chadderton, they came up against a Hyde side with something to prove, and they made a good account of themselves, forcing Billy O'Brien into a couple of good saves. The Tigers march on as they try to go one better in this competition this season, and from the looks of things tonight, have made the perfect start |
