Spells with York City, Chester City and Hamilton Academicals followed before he joined Northwich Victoria. After a loan spell at Kidsgrove Athletic he joined Leigh RMI where he came to prominence as a prolific marksman. A move back to Scotland with Queen of the South followed before he came back over the border to join Scarborough. A move to Morecambe followed before he joined Stafford Rangers and then moved on to The Tigers.
