He only played 11 times in a Hyde shirt but his contribution was immense and was one of the reasons we finished 2nd that year. He'll forever be remembered for his hat trick at Blyth Spartans as Hyde came back from 3-0 down to win 4-3, Rob using his hand to force home the winner (they all count!). He broke into the first team on his return to Crewe and the rest is history as he secured big moves to West Bromwich Albion and then Leeds United.
