This site has come about as over the years I've stored up a number of team line ups & results on paper and wanted to give them a more permanent home, plus it then becomes so easy to see a players full record or our success rate against a certain team, etc.
Here are some of the people who have helped in one way or another.
I must thank the late Ray Stanley for a fair part of this data, he kindly allowed me to photocopy his statistcs from 1980 up to 1996 and without that I wouldn't have had much to go on. This site is dedicated to him.
Many of the match reports appear courtesy of Adrian Hunt and Tony Beard from the Official Site as do most of the player photographs. Mark Dring has also filled in a number of gaps and written some of the match reports. Chris Hilton has also provided a number of photographs for use.
Neil Studd is a name that won't mean a great deal to Hyde United fans but he has provided the reality to my ideas and put together this site. Again many thanks to Neil, without whom this would not have been possible.
Thanks also to my bride to be, Georgina and our little girl Katie for allowing me to sit at the PC for hours at a time.
